Jazz Cow is an animated situation Comedy about a Jazz Playing Cow who reluctantly leads a group of artists, poets and misfits in resisting Big Tech guru Dr Popp and his world of algorithms and fake filters.
We’ve got some exciting artists lined up to work on the Jazz Cow soundtrack.
He is a renowned jazz composer, bandleader, and pianist, with 14 albums and 3 books to his name. A Steinway Artist and winner of the Paul Hamlyn Composition Prize, he’s toured globally and served as Artist in Residence at Morley College (2024/25). He’s also a Jazz Piano Professor at the Guildhall School of Music & Drama.
His works have been performed by the Bournemouth Symphony Chorus and the London Sinfonietta. He was the Musical Director for the award-winning Jazz 625 Live (BBC4, 2019) and is published by Bucks Music Group (music) and Common Tone Press (poetry). Celebrated as a jazz maestro, his keyboard skills earned him a spot in Ted Gioia’s History of Jazz.

He has demonstrated, an extraordinary talent that spans across genres, effortlessly weaving through jazz, classical, hip-hop, soul, folk, and beyond, carving out a unique expression that is distinctly his own. This versatility led him to be unanimously selected by Jamie Cullum, Gilles Peterson, and Jez Nelson to perform at BBC Introducing & Manchester Jazz Festival. In 2015, Dominic joined the British nu-jazz group The Cinematic Orchestra as their pianist, propelling him to perform on renowned stages worldwide, including the Montreux Jazz Festival, Glastonbury Festival, Tokyo SummerSonic, Brixton Academy, Royal Festival Hall, and LA’s Walt Disney Concert Hall.

hip-hop / soul artist from Manchester, by way of Birmingham, and has been performing on stages alongside well established collectives ‘Cul Dè Sac’ and ‘Roots Raddix’. Lay’s style is an authentic mix of nostalgic soul and UK hip-hop, at times singing in the sweetest of tones, while being able to unleash ferocious bars with such seamlessness, neither style is compromised. Complete with individual eccentricity, this headstrong, fun loving introvert is letting her music do the talking.

Heidi Vogel, a London-born singer, began her career touring with Cirque du Soleil before establishing herself in the jazz and soul scenes of London and LA, notably as the lead singer for The Cinematic Orchestra. Over five years, she toured extensively with the band, showcasing her rich vocal timbre and gaining recognition worldwide. Vogel had performed across the USA, Australia, South Africa, Canada, and Europe, concluding with sold-out shows at The Royal Albert Hall and on the Jimmy Kimmel TV show. She continued her success, headlining The Big Chill Festival UK in 2010 and supporting Erykah Badu at Dubai’s Chill Out Festival in 2011. Vogel’s solo album “Turn Up The Quiet” further solidified her reputation, featuring her interpretations of songs by esteemed composers like Antonio Carlos Jobim and Joe Henderson. Accompanied by talented musicians including guitarist Josue Ferreira, vocalist Cleveland Watkiss, and pianist Austin Peralta, the album received praise from influential critics and included remixes from notable artists.
